- Arno Victor Dorian
That last line truly contains moral meaning. This and watch dogs had endings of realisation, in which the protagonists reflect upon their journey, and decide its cause. They regret, and understand they choices, and declare their purpose in this world, and also state a global quote, which applies to everybody. In this game, the moral was one I can closely relate to, and one I intend to inform others about.
That is the whole point of the Assassins Creed. It is merely a statement of reality. It does not condemn beliefs, merely to make up your own mind and choice and the reality that you, and you alone, must live with those choices
I actually like the ending. This ending was bittersweet. In those few seconds we saw Arno's character change and I hope we get to see his more dark and strong side if we see him again.
This ending fixes everything with the story. He matures at that moment and his heart hardens. He sees the errors of mistakes and understands what it all means. He is also no longer tide down by someone who had too much control over the actions he took in his life
True, it is very touching. But video games are a form of entertainment. We do not require it to repeat in what draws us away from our tensions. We expect happy endings, intriguing stories, and epic moments from our games, not moral justice or realisation of mistakes
