Auf der E3 wurde für das Spiel Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 ein Gameplay veröffentlicht, welches zirka fünf Minuten lang ist. Nun wurde, auf der Comic Con in San Diego, ein Trailer für die Map Seeds of Time veröffentlicht, welcher dinge wie Split Screen Coop und vier Spieler Coop präsentiert. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 erscheint im Frühling 2016 auf PlayStation 4, PC und Xbox One.
