Sony hat bekannt gegeben, dass man anders als im Vorerst dieses Mal auf der gamescom mit einer großen Anzahl an PlayStation VR Stationen vertreten sein wird. Insgesamt soll es 50 Geräte geben, auf denen man diverse Spiele testen darf. Welche Spiele das sein werden, hat man gleich auch noch verraten:

- EVE Valkyrie (CCP Games)
- Farpoint
- Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live (SEGA)
- Headmaster (Frame Interactive)

- Resident Evil 7 biohazard (Capcom)
- RIGS: Mechanized Combat League
- Robinson: The Journey (Crytek)
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
