Der Publisher EA gab nun bekannt, dass man die Entwicklung des Open World Star Wars Spiels eingestellt habe. Grund dafür soll der zu große Aufwand sein, der in dem Projekt steckt. Auch das Star Wars Spiel von Visceral Games (bekannt für die Dead Space Reihe) wurde bereits eingestellt.
Derzeit befindet sich noch ein Star Wars Spiel von Respawn Entertainment (u.a. Titanfall) in Entwicklung. Dieses soll eigentlich noch 2019 erscheinen, wir sind jedoch skeptisch.
