Since its introduction late Fortnite Items last year, Fortnite: Battle Royale's X-4 Stormwing--that the game's first flying vehicle--has been a source of complaints from individuals who feel it's overpowered. Now, with Fortnite Items the launch of the third and final content upgrade of the 7.10 patch, Epic Games is making some changes to reduce its impact.Epic has approached this in many different ways, as outlined in 7.10's upgrade #3 patch notes. Perhaps most notably, its spawn chance was reduced--it's no longer a guaranteed 100%, instead appearing only 80% of their time.

When you do encounter one, you will receive less knockback (down 70 percent ) when a Stormwing collides with you personally. When one hits a construction, it'll take 50% more damage. Additionally, its own machine gun will now be effective, with its spread improved by 75%. You can see the full collection of changes from the area notes excerpt below. Whether these changes are adequate (or have gone too far) remains to be seen, but many will probably be happy simply to see Epic made some attempt to address the Stormwing's power.

Apart from these alterations, the latest update introduces a new weapon, the more Suppressed Sniper Rifle, that deals less damage but allows you to remain stealthy whilst using it. The Six Shooter also vaults though it could always return later on.

All of this comes as the 14 Days of Fortnite occasion yields. While it had been scheduled to have stopped by now (and did return to a close), Epic miscommunicated the end date to the event, leading to frustration out of some who missed out on the buy fortnite weapons opportunity to finish its challenges and earn rewards.
